Writing Prompt

Write about a hoax. Explain the effect the hoax had. Include grammar points from Units 1, 2, and 3.

One day I was watching TV when my phone rang, I responded to the call. The person told me that I got the job and started to tell me that I got the job and started to tell me some details about the interview and some other details.

I thought about the last job that I applied for and I told him OK.

I prepared myself to the interview so I started to memorize many things and I spent the whole night keeping the things that I expected to be asked about.

The next day, woke up early and I took a shower. I was worried somehow, but I tried all my best to not show it. I went to the interview and I waited there for half an hour.

I met the interviewers and I we started dood conversation. After that they started to ask me weird questions that they are not in my major so I could not answer.

In ten minutes, the interview finished which it was the worse interview in my life.

I went home and I was sad. I opened my email and I saw a message from the same company. They apologized and said that they contacted with the wrong person and the job vacancy was different from my major.

In the end, I recognized that the call was a hoax and it was like a dream. I laughed for five minutes and I moved on.
